Saint Mother Teresa Assembly 2523 in Schertz proudly supported the traveling relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in San Antonio from 31 October - 4 November.  As part of the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope, the Church celebrated the 100th anniversary of St. Thérèse's canonization by sending a special reliquary of the beloved saint around the world.  Assembly 2523 received St. Thérèse's relics at the Discalced Carmelite Monastery where they stayed for a day of private veneration.  Assembly 2523 then transported the relics to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower where they remained for 4 more days of public veneration as part of the global celebration.  For several days during this time, members of the Assembly's Color Corps contributed to the public honors rendered by performing honor guard for the relics.
