2026 – 2027 Fraternal Year

The Star District Award recognizes outstanding achievements in membership, insurance and overall excellence by the councils within the territory of a district deputy.

Membership Growth

The district reaches 70% of combined council membership goals. You can track district membership on Officers Online.

Promotion of Our Insurance and Fraternal Benefits

The Founders Award is earned by at least 50% of the councils within the district.

Overall District Excellence

At least two councils in the district earn the Star Council Award. Districts with one council are not eligible.

Submit a District Deputy Annual Report on Council Status (#944) for each council in your district, which is due on 9/15. The report should be submitted for all councils – even councils that are currently suspended or inactive.

Every district deputy who attains 35% or better of his District Intake Goal by September 30, 2026, will receive a Padfolio.

Q2 DD Incentive (October 1 – December 31)

Every district deputy who attains 75% or better of his District Intake Goal by December 31, 2026, along with 50% of his councils gaining one or more new members or exemplifying one, will receive a Pickleball Set.

Q3 DD Incentive (January 1 – March 31)

Every district deputy who attains 110% or more of his District Intake Goal by March 31, 2027, along with 75% of his councils gaining one or more new members or exemplifying one, will receive a Shirt and Tie.

Q4 DD Incentive (April 1 – June 30)

Every district deputy who attains Star District along with all his councils gaining at least one new member will receive a Solo Stove Mesa Smokeless Fire Pit.

Council Incentives

Join & Serve Challenge: A council qualifies by reaching 100% of its annual quota by November 30, 2026, and completing the Food for Families program with a donation of at least $500.00 or 1,000 pounds of food. Each qualifying council will receive eight customembroidered K of C aprons and eight custom-embroidered K of C baseball caps. A qualifying council that submits photos showing the new gear in use will also be entered into a drawing for a $200.00 Knights Gear gift certificate.

Individual Incentives

Go for Two More! Knights who recruit two men between September 1 and December 31 will be entered into a drawing for a $2,000.00 prize. Ten second-place winners will each receive a customized K of C-branded football jersey.

College and Seminary Council Incentives

Membership Madness

A bracket-style competition running from October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027 Membership Madness challenges councils to compete head-to-head in six rounds of friendly competition.

A $5,000.00 check presented by the Supreme Master

A $1,500.00 donation to the Catholic Student Club, Newman Center, or Campus Ministry
