Under the leadership of Grand Knight Roy Hernandez Jr., Council 16917 in the city of Weslaco proudly conducted a highly successful wheelchair drive on December 6 and 7. With the dedication of the brother Knights and the generosity of the parish community, the council raised an impressive $1,500 in support of this meaningful cause. These funds will provide approximately 34 new wheelchairs to individuals who currently lack access to the mobility equipment they need. This effort reflects the true spirit of service and compassion, demonstrating what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
