Each year during Lent, Council 7850 is honored to participate in the solemn commemoration of Our Lord’s Passion by leading the Traditional Stations of the Cross on Good Friday at 3:00 PM—the hour of Christ’s death.
This year, four Brother Knights served as readers for the ceremony held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, adding spiritual depth and reverence to this most sacred hour. From left to right, the readers were:
Bart McMurry, Brad Istas, James Goode, and Mario Vivas.
The reading was conducted from the altar area while Deacon Mike Seibold, two acolytes, and a cross bearer moved from station to station around the sanctuary. The 45-minute ceremony provided all in attendance with a powerful meditation on Christ’s suffering and sacrificial love.
“It was well worth attending to remind us of what our Lord went through for our salvation,” shared Dan Zechmeister, Membership Director.
Council 7850 is grateful for the opportunity to serve the parish community during this deeply meaningful annual devotion and remains committed to promoting prayer, reflection, and reverence throughout the Lenten season.
