The sanctuary of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano was filled with joy and reverence on Saturday, May 24th, as Rev. Bryce Baumann was ordained to the sacred priesthood in a Mass celebrated by Bishop Edward J. Burns.
A beloved son of the parish, Rev. Baumann is also the son of Bruce Baumann, St. Elizabeth's Director of Faith Formation and a longtime Knight. Rev. Baumann’s journey to the priesthood has been marked by deep commitment to the Church, and his vocation is a source of pride and joy for the entire Seton community.
In addition to his priestly calling, Rev. Baumann is a Brother Knight of Council 7850 and a 4th Degree Sir Knight with Assembly 2266, having completed his exemplification on March 16, 2024, at St. Gabriel the Archangel in McKinney.
“The unwritten rule of our Order is that we support our priests,” noted Grand Knight SK Craig Robinson. “We are proud to stand beside Rev. Baumann in his ministry, and we pray for his continued strength and holiness as he shepherds God's people.”
The Knights of Columbus—guided by the pillars of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism—recognize the vital role priests play in building up the Church. Council 7850 and Assembly 2266 remain committed to supporting Rev. Baumann and all those who courageously answer the call to the priesthood.
