Memorial Council 6527 in Houston held its annual Memorial Service for the prayers and remembrance of council members who passed away in the last 12 months and also those who passed in all prior years of the council. 
At a mass in their honor, the names of all past members in our remembrance which included over 120 former members were announced. We invited widows, children and grandchildren of those who have passed, acknowledging our Brother Knights' service to our family, our parish and our community. The council has held this annual event for over 30 years. In the program we list all charter members of the council, all past Grand Knights, all current members, and a history of the council.
In addition to remembering them durning the service, we purchase a Mass hymnal and put their names in the front cover of the hymnal to acknowledge them and their service forever.
